Beograd (Serbian Cyrillic: Београд), the capital of Serbia, is a colorful mixture of the East and West. It lies on two international waterways, at the confluence of the rivers Sava and Danube which surround it on three sides. Because of its position, it has rightly been called "Gateway to the Balkans" and the "Door to Central Europe".

Novi Sad (Serbian Cyrillic: Нови Сад) is the second largest city in Serbia, located on the banks of the Danube river. Today, Novi Sad is the second cultural centre in Serbia (besides Belgrade). The city has several museums and galleries. Every year during the annual EXIT music festival, the city is full of young people from all over Europe. The most recognized structure in Novi Sad is Petrovaradin Fortress. There is also a National Park of Fruška Gora mountain nearby.


Kragujevac (Serbian Cyrillic: Крагујевац) is the fourth largest city in Serbia, the main city of the Šumadija region. It is situated on the banks of the Lepenica River. Despite its relatively late foundation (1476), Kragujevac is the city of many firsts. Being the first capital of modern Serbia, the first constitution in the Balkans was proclaimed in this city in 1835. Further on, the first full- fledged university in the newly independent Serbia was founded in 1838, preceded by the first grammar school (Gimnazija), Printworks, professional National theatre and the Military academy.

 


Niš(Serbian Cyrillic: Ниш) is the largest city of southern Serbia and the third-largest city in Serbia.It is one of the oldest cities in the Balkans and Europe, and has from ancient times been considered a gateway between the East and the West. Constantine the Great was born in Nis,then Naissus,by passing The Edict of Milan in 313,he proclaimed religious tolerance and elevated Christianity to the status equal to other religions.The unic place in Nis is Mediana,an archeological place from the late Roman period,a lot of others monuments you can see like ‘Skull Tower’a huge Fortress,also beautiful Spa next to Nis-NISKA Spa.But expect this you can have a great night life in Niš.
